In order to further our vision of becoming a pro-active office, we are in the process of expanding the publications and data resources available to you during the upcoming searches in your area. We have spent $1,000 on materials and resources to assist you in targeting minority and female applicants. As the university seeks to diversify its faculty, staff and student populations, the Office of Affirmative Action wishes to assist you in acquiring a diverse pool of candidates, as well as help you meet the goals and timetables stated in the utilization analysis.
The links below contain material presently available in the Office of Affirmative Action and via other resources. The links contain a compilation of publications, periodicals, and journals where you can post your vacancies. Additionally, listed in the packet are directories where you can select and receive resumes (vitas) of minorities and women by discipline. Should you have additional ideas or suggestions for resources, please make them known to us. As always, the invitation is open to provide additional availability statistics (printed), which you may acquire from state and national organizations and conferences. We can factor them into the utilization analysis.
If you have special requests for assistance, please contact the office at extension 3253. We are pleased to answer any questions that arise during the search.
Thank you for the efforts you make to provide our students with exposure to the many wonderful people and cultures in our world.
