Welcome to the CMU Highlights Database

This database is intended for internal use only. We will periodically select messages from this database for public communication.

The purpose of this initiative is to provide the university community with a centralized database for tracking current highlights. For a claim to be considered a CMU highlight, it generally:

1. should not be more than 2 years old;
2. should be something that CMU is either first, only, or best at; and
3. should position CMU regionally or nationally.

Please note that highlights are what separates CMU from the competition and are not just hard facts.

Within this database you will find highlights that represent CMU's excellence in its colleges and departments. If you have any questions about the highlights that are included in this database, please e-mail keymsg@cmich.edu.

If you believe you have a claim that should be added to this database, please e-mail all relevant information to keymsg@cmich.edu. We will work to verify your message and add it to the database.
