From document collaboration to real time chat, instant messaging, discussion boards, wiki's and blogs; IT has what you need to get the job done. Through systems like Blackboard and our Openfire Jabber server, we can put you in touch with other students, faculty and staff anywhere, anytime.

Instructors: Are you looking to bring your students together outside of the classroom? Try Wimba in Blackboard. You can collaborate in real time with the entire class, sharing an online whiteboard, audio and video chat as well as instant messaging all in the same session.

Looking to collaborate on projects across departments, or even within your own department? Look into a SharePoint Team site. From document sharing to surveys, discussion boards to blogs, SharePoint Team sites can be customized to fit your team needs.

Just need to chat with a colleague on campus? Why not sign on to the Jabber server with your favorite IM client? Anyone with a Global ID can use the Jabber server and connect via instant messaging with anyone else on campus!
