Anti-virus
CMU provides anti-virus software for all faculty, staff, and students. The current offering is McAfee VirusScan Enterprise and is available on the OIT Help Desk Software Download Center. Faculty and staff are encouraged to install McAfee from Configuration Manager (formerly SMS). The Office of Information Technology will push out updated signatures daily (or more often, in the event of a widespread infection).
