Theunissen Stadium
Theunissen Stadium is one of the finest baseball facilities in the Midwest. The 4,100-seat stadium features a spacious press box, 1,800 permanent grandstand seats and bleacher seating for an additional 2,300 down each line. Theunissen Stadium was built with the players in mind. It has excellent outfield drainage, a well-groomed playing surface and large dugouts. Located on the northeast corner of the CMU campus, the field's dimensions are 325 down the line, 375 to the power alleys and 395 to center. A new Theunissen Stadium will be built at a different location on campus for the 2002 season as the
Health Professions Building will be constructed at the site of the current baseball field.
