Native American Gallery
Established in 1994 with a gift from Olga and Rollie Denison, the Native American Gallery is located inside the
Museum of Cultural and Natural History. The gallery highlights the colorful and inspired works of Native Americans in the Great Lakes area. Exhibits illustrate a variety of traditional and contemporary art forms such as black ash basketry and beadwork, porcupine quill decoration, stone sculpture, oil painting and stained glass. The gallery is expanding continuously to include more original art by Native American artists of the past and present.
