New Venture Challenge

Challenge yourself to turn your big idea into reality.

The New Venture Challenge (NVC) has been reimagined to create an inclusive and inspiring experience for all CMU students interested in innovation and entrepreneurship. Whether you’re just starting to shape an idea or already building a venture, NVC provides the support and platform to help you take the next step.

Through NVC, you’ll:

  • Develop start-up skills that help transform ideas into actionable plans

  • Connect with mentors and experts who will guide you along the way

  • Pitch your ideas and gain valuable feedback from judges and peers

  • Compete for funding and recognition to help move your idea forward

To help you prepare, the Isabella Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship offers a series of workshops, mentor meetups, and networking events designed to strengthen your entrepreneurial mindset and set you up for success.

Join us and be part of a community of creators, innovators, and change-makers at CMU.
Your journey starts with the New Venture Challenge.
