Alumni Service Recognition Award

The Alumni Service Recognition Award is bestowed upon alumni of Central Michigan University who show compassion for addressing critical social, economic, and environmental needs throughout our society on either a local, state, national or international level.

Alumni Service Recognition Award criteria

Recipients will possess an earned degree from Central Michigan University and meets all of the following criteria:

Character and Integrity: The recipient demonstrates exceptional character and integrity through sustained service to international, national, state, or local communities.
Service to Society: The recipient demonstrates a commitment to service through an interest in bettering the lives of others.
Service and Support to Central Michigan University: The recipient enhances the University through volunteer leadership roles, reputation, assistance to students, prospective students, and/or alumni, or engages with academic programs, or advising and volunteering with student organizations.

Nominations for the 2024 Alumni Awards are open. Nominations will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Nominations received after March 31, 2024, will be considered for the 2025 Alumni Awards program.
