New International Teaching Assistant Program

This week-long face-to-face training introduces ITAs to higher education and teaching in the United States. The training provides valuable information about topics such as your first day of teaching, U.S. classroom expectations for instructors and students, intercultural communication, listening and speaking compensation strategies, building rapport with your students, using active learning techniques, leading a discussion, classroom management, and meeting with students during your office hours.
