What is my Campus ID Number?
Your Campus ID Number is a number assigned to you by SAP. This number used to be a person's Social Security Number, (so it was both the 'student number' and used to identify all employees) but as of the 2005-2006 academic year, CMU is moving away from SSN as a primary identifier for security purposes. This SAP-assigned number will be encoded in your campus ID badge. You can find your student number by going into the Portal and clicking on the "My Campus ID Number" link, under the Academics tab.
