Learn to Swim

Swimming lessons for all ages! We have a class for every experience level.

Class information

  • Classes meet 6 times
  • 30-minute class sessions: $60 
  • 40-minute class sessions: $67

Register with our new online registration system

  • Create an account.
  • Open your account and add your children as affiliates (with date of birth).
  • Open class registration and choose which family member you are registering (top right corner).
  • Choose a class and register that family member.
  • Note: all classes have age limits so your child must be that age to register.

Class descriptions

  • Parent and Child 1 - (6mo-18mo) Prerequisite: Parents must be in the water with child and child must wear a swim diaper. Objective: To help parents and children feel comfortable in the water. The pool water is kept around 83 degrees. It is recommended that children under the age of 3 wear a swim shirt or type of wetsuit.
  • Parent and Child 2 - (19-36 months) Prerequisites: Parent must be in the water with child and child must wear a swim diaper. Objectives: To help parents and children feel comfortable in the water. The pool water is kept around 83 degrees. It is recommended that children under the age of 3 wear a swim shirt or type of wetsuit.
  • Parents w/ 3's - (3yrs) Prerequisites: Parent must be in the water with child. Objectives: Age-appropriate activities designed to introduce basic swimming skills and concepts. Parents are the water to help with the transition from Parent and Child class to Preschool class
  • Preschool 1 - (ages 3-4) Prerequisites: 3 years of age. Objectives: Age-appropriate activities designed to introduce basic swimming skills and concepts.
  • Preschool 2 - (ages 4-5) Prerequisites: 4 years of age. Objectives: Age-appropriate activities designed to introduce basic swimming skills and concepts.
  • Level 1 - (ages 6-14) Prerequisites: Age 6 & up. Objectives: Introduction to independent swimming and floating on front and back, changing direction in the water and breathing control.
  • Level 2 - (ages 6-14) Prerequisites: Students should be able to float on their stomach and back for 3 seconds and swim independently 15 feet. Objectives: Increase independent swimming/floating on front and back, changing direction in the water and breathing control.
  • Level 3 - (ages 6-14) Prerequisites: Students should be able to make the transition from swimming on their stomach to their back independently and vice versa. Students should be able to swim independently for 1 length of the pool. Objectives: Front crawl, elementary backstroke and Backstroke.
  • Level 4 - (ages 6-14) Prerequisites: Front Crawl (1 length), Backstroke (1 length), Students should be able to float or tread water for 30 seconds.
  • Level 5 – (ages 6-14) Prerequisites: Front Crawl (2 lengths), Backstroke (2 lengths), Breaststroke (1 length), Dolphin Kick
  • Adult Beginner (ages 15 & up) prerequisite: none – students will be taught skills to become independent in the water
  • Adult Intermediate (ages 15 & up) prerequisite: swim 1 length of the pool – students will be taught swim strokes (Front Crawl, Backstroke)
