Summer speech-language specialty clinics

Summer Speech-Language Specialty Clinics (SSC) 2024 will mark our 78th year on CMU's campus. We are excited to continue to offer this unique opportunity to our students studying speech-language pathology and families seeking intensive summer speech and language intervention for their children.

Clinics are offered by the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders to provide quality clinical education to our students, evidence-based clinical services to clients, outreach and collaboration with community social, health and educational partners, and support clinical research.

Location:

  • Childhood Development & Learning Laboratory at the College of Education and Human Services building.

Dates:

  • June 26 - August 1, 2024, Monday through Thursday.
    • Campers will not attend camp on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Sessions:

  • Children 3 to 9 years of age.
    • 9:00 a.m.—noon and 1:00 p.m.—4:00 p.m. sessions.
  • Children 10 to 14 years of age.
    • Half day 9:00 a.m.—noon and 1:00 p.m.—4:00 p.m. sessions.
    • Full day 9:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m. is an option for children 10 to 14 years of age.

Cost:

  • $700 for half-day sessions.
  • $1400 for full-day sessions.
