Museum Events
Curious Curators
The museum hosts Curious Curators annually in June or July. Curious Curators are programs designed for students entering 4th or 5th grades in the fall in an effort to get participants acquainted with National History Day and excited about History! Students must submit an application and write an essay explaining why they are interested in museums and why they should be chosen. If your child is interested, please email the museum with a request to be directly mailed when the next Curious Curator application comes out, and we'll put you on the list.
Grandparents U
The museum education team presents sessions at Grandparents U, a university-wide event, held annually in June.
Kids & Culture
Kids & Culture is a free, family-focused event that happens monthly. The Museum provides content twice annually. Months differ each year. Kids & Culture events are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month at various cultural institutions within the City of Mount Pleasant. The programming is focused on bringing cultural opportunities to kids. Each event features hands on activities, free admission, and the opportunity to learn more about featured art, music, dance, and so much more!
Tour Tuesdays
Held in July on Tuesday mornings, Tour Tuesdays are public programs that are family-friendly and free, but a donation is always welcomed. Topics change each year.
