Cultural and Global Studies Certificates
We are all citizens of a global community. Trade, telecommunications, migrations, languages, music, politics and scores of other ties link distant places ever more tightly. The 21st century provides opportunities for those who are prepared for this global arena.
Each of us belongs to several diverse communities whether at work, at school, at home or at leisure. In the decades ahead we will interact with even more people as our society becomes more complex. The range of cultural diversity in American society and the world beyond demands that people in an ever-growing range of careers possess the knowledge, understanding, intercultural sensitivity and analytical tools to perform effectively.
The cultural and global studies curriculum draws from disciplines across the university to give you the knowledge and the theoretical and methodological skills necessary to understand our complex and rapidly changing world.
