Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions offers undergraduate degrees, certificate programs and graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines. Our programs incorporate interactive classroom learning with research opportunities, clinical experiences and internships to prepare you to succeed in the health professions. Whether you want to provide health care to others or lead change within health care, we have the program for you.

  • Over 2,500 internship/clinical affiliations globally.
  • 1st Athletic Training major (initially Sports Medicine) in the United States.
  • Over 100 students and faculty presented findings at the Health Professions Research Symposium last year.
  • 1st accredited Doctor of Audiology program in the United States.
  • Michigan’s only nationally accredited Environmental Health and Safety program.
  • $792,283 in total research funding for the College in 2023-2024.
  • 5 Gold Awards for the "Exercise is Medicine" program from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
  • CHP partners with over 800 clinics, educational, social service, government, business, and other agencies around the world every year.
