Central Michigan University recognizes alumni and friends each year who have had significant achievements professionally and within their communities.
Alumni award recipients are leaders and innovators who mindfully pay it forward to support others. Their impact often includes contributing time, talent and financial resources to CMU, its students and alumni.
The CMU Alumni Association is proud to honor the following individuals as Central Michigan University's 2025 National Alumni Award recipients.
This award is the highest honor bestowed upon notable alumni who bring credit to CMU through personal accomplishment, professional achievement, notoriety or community service activities.
This award is named after legendary sports broadcaster and alumni Dick Enberg, Class of 1957. Throughout his career, Enberg always remembered his start at Central Michigan University.
This award is presented to corporations or foundations that demonstrate generosity to CMU.
This award is bestowed upon alumni who show compassion for addressing critical social, economic and environmental needs throughout our society on either a local, state, national or international level.
The Division of Student Affairs recognizes alumni who served as student leaders or student employees on the Mt. Pleasant campus.
This award is the highest honor bestowed upon loyal friends of CMU who are not alumni.
This award recognizes outstanding CMU junior or senior students who have demonstrated commitment to forging ongoing connections for students and alumni through academic achievement and co-curricular involvement.
