Cybersecurity program highlights
- Prepare for a career in cybersecurity with a state-of-the-art virtual lab, knowledgeable faculty mentors, hands-on workshops and company-sponsored events.
- The Cybersecurity Club gets you ready for a career in protecting computers and data with hands-on labs, workshops, and "capture the flag" events.
- Each October we celebrate National Cybersecurity Awareness Month with Cybersecurity Day. It's a day filled with insightful keynotes from experts in cyber defense; exciting breakout sessions with the FBI, U.S. Army and other organizations; and a thrilling game of capture the flag.
- CMU is a NSA/DHS designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE). Multiple Business Information Systems (BIS) programs have received program of study validation and include the MSIS degree and Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity.
