Library Orientation Information
A library orientation is highly recommended prior to applying for a library card. The online orientation presentation explains the functions and services provided by the medical library. After watching the presentation, please complete the application form located below in the library card Information section.
Medical Library Orientation Presentation
In addition to the online format, Knowledge Services provides individual and/or group orientations on library resources. These are available on an appointment and walk-in basis. Please contact Knowledge Services at 989-746-7577 or cmedlibrary@cmich.edu for arrangements.
Library Card Information
You are eligible for a library card if you are an affiliate of CMU Health (including Medical Students and Residents), Covenant or Ascension St. Mary’s. In addition, you are eligible if you are a registered visiting student with one of our residency programs.
The library card allows you to check out materials from the library, as well as obtain access to subscription resources on our website.
A library orientation is highly recommended prior to applying for a library card. Please see above in the Library Orientation Information section.
To obtain a library card, you can either apply online here or stop by either Library location to complete a print application.
