The Central Michigan University College of Business Administration will host a Cybersecurity Awareness Day event Friday, Oct. 11, in Grawn Hall.

The all-day event will feature a diverse panel of cybersecurity experts followed by a networking reception with industry professionals. Students also can compete in an exciting capture the flag cybersecurity simulation – a fun way to build important cybersecurity skills such as recognizing risks and system vulnerabilities.

Since October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the panel discussion will explore securing and protecting data. The event is open to all CMU students interested in learning more about this rapidly growing career field, but they must register online by Monday, Oct. 7.
