CMU is proud to announce our new, traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program application portal will open on Saturday, March 1, 2025! Applications will only be accepted online. Online applications will officially close at midnight on March 31, 2025. The first cohort will be 30 students, beginning Fall 2025.
Focusing on small cohort sizes, our program fosters strong personal connections between nursing peers, educators, and clinicians, providing continuous support from the start to graduation. Throughout this journey, students will hone their skills in our cutting-edge nursing laboratory and Interprofessional Education and Practice Center (IPEP), where they can practice what they’ve learned. They'll gain exposure to a variety of specialized settings during clinical rotations during their second year in the program.
Nursing is projected to be among the top five occupations with the highest number of new job openings over the next decade! Registered nurses holding a BSN degree are often the preferred candidates for these roles. Our Nursing BSN program is designed for students without a college degree, beginning with one year of prerequisite coursework followed by six semesters of professional nursing classes.
