Tune in Friday, April 11 at 1 p.m. for great ideas and fierce competition. Then, join the judges, mentors, spectators and teams as they see who is going home with thousands of dollars in venture financing. The awards broadcast begins at 6:30 p.m. and one team will walk away as the overall best venture.

Central Michigan University’s College of Business Administration is the home of the Isabella Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship and the first Department of Entrepreneurship in the state of Michigan. We are a student-centric hub where experiential, curricular, and external entrepreneurial opportunities intersect.

Our mission is to maximize student success by fostering a campus-wide entrepreneurial mindset that promotes inter-disciplinary collaboration and the creation of new ventures.

We aim to create innovative programming, boost cross-campus and ecosystem collaboration and provide a comprehensive mentoring program.

Our institute provides extracurricular opportunities and is open to all undergraduate and graduate CMU students.

      CMU Medical Education Partners welcome board-certified physicians

      SAGINAW, Mich. – CMU Medical Education Partners welcomes the addition of board-certified Maternal Fetal Specialist Dr. Radhu Cherukuri and Pediatrician Dr. Thomas Schomaker. These physicians offer patient-centered medical care at CMU Health Women and Children’s Center located at 1000 Houghton Ave. in Saginaw, Mich.

      “We are fortunate to attract excellent physicians to the Great Lakes Bay Region who have a long-standing passion to care for their patients,” said President and CEO Dr. Samuel Shaheen of CMEP.

      About Dr. Radhu Cherukuri

      Dr. Cherukuri provides specialized care for expecting mothers with high-risk pregnancies. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency in Brooklyn, N.Y., along with a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at S.U.N.Y. Health Science Center. She has been practicing maternal fetal medicine in Saginaw for 35 years.

      About Dr. Thomas Schomaker

      Dr. Schomaker is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in primary care pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his residency with St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit. With 30 years of practicing medicine, Dr. Schomaker has a passion for working with children and helping them to develop healthy habits.

      Our center provides a comprehensive care facility for adults and children. The newly renovated building offers CenteringPregnancy® and CenteringParenting®, a complex care clinic, and medical specialists in endocrinology, genetics, and rheumatology.
