Then, join the judges, mentors, spectators and teams as they see who is going home with thousands of dollars in venture financing. Central Michigan University’s College of Business Administration is the home of the Isabella Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship and the first Department of Entrepreneurship in the state of Michigan. We are a student-centric hub where experiential, curricular, and external entrepreneurial opportunities intersect.

Our mission is to maximize student success by fostering a campus-wide entrepreneurial mindset that promotes inter-disciplinary collaboration and the creation of new ventures.

We aim to create innovative programming, boost cross-campus and ecosystem collaboration and provide a comprehensive mentoring program.

Our institute provides extracurricular opportunities and is open to all undergraduate and graduate CMU students.

      CMU, NABET-CWA ratify contract

      The National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians-Communications Workers of America Local 412 has a new contract with CMU.

      Members of the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians-Communications Workers of America Local 412 have a new three-year contract with Central Michigan University.

      The bargaining unit includes 25 staff employed in radio and television production, engineering, and marketing assignments at WCMU Public Media, which provides NPR and PBS programming to central and northern Michigan.

      In the first year of the agreement, members will receive a $500 non-base lump-sum payment, and university contributions toward health care insurance premiums will remain at the same level in effect June 30, 2019. Wage adjustments and benefits contributions in the second and third years of the new agreement will match those of the professional and administrative employee group.

      President Bob Davies and NABET-CWA ratified the agreement June 3. The current agreement expires June 30, 2019, and the new agreement covers July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2022.
