Health Administration students and faculty to present at prestigious research conference

      by Kathleen Hodgkins
CMU’s newly accredited Master of Health Administration (MHA) program and a well-established Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) program have achieved international recognition. MHA and DHA graduates will have a unique opportunity to share their scientific findings and interact with thousands of like-minded Academy of Management members from around the world.

A research team of recent MHA graduates (Hayley Schroeder, Muna Abdulmajid & Morgan Binge), led by a recent Doctor of Health Administration alum Rodina Bizri-Baryak, and a CMU faculty member Dr. Lana Ivanitskaya, will present at one of the most prestigious research conferences in the world, the 84th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management. Their 38-page paper titled “Rethinking the U.S. Healthcare System: Policy-Relevant Insights from Social Media Analyses” passed a rigorous peer review by the Health Care Management Division of the Academy of Management.

The Academy of Management's Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of management and organization scholars in the world. This event gives over 6,000 members the opportunity to network, share their research, learn about the latest trends in management, and improve their papers.
