Sarah Kunik, executive office Specialist for the Center of Clinical Experiences, passed away on March 29, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Nick, and two daughters, Olivia and Mallory.
Sarah's smile and caring attitude will be missed by all her colleagues and the many students she helped as the first point of contact with the CCE office. She joined CMU in 2015 as an office professional in both the CCE and the Department of Counseling and Special Education. In 2018, she was hired as the Executive Office Specialist. The role was perfect for her. Sarah's student-centered attitude and skilled care were greatly appreciated by everyone who inquired with a concern.
Her colleagues will remember her laughter and the spirited stories she would share of her family and friends. The CMU community has lost a consummate professional and compassionate advocate for our students. She loved and was loved. She will be missed.
