We are a student-centric hub where experiential, curricular, and external entrepreneurial opportunities intersect.

Our mission is to maximize student success by fostering a campus-wide entrepreneurial mindset that promotes inter-disciplinary collaboration and the creation of new ventures.

We aim to create innovative programming, boost cross-campus and ecosystem collaboration and provide a comprehensive mentoring program.

Our institute provides extracurricular opportunities and is open to all undergraduate and graduate CMU students.

Later this calendar year, Central Michigan University is launching a brand-new external website. The site is designed for prospective students, with a cleaner, easier-to-navigate layout and easy access to information on programs, admissions, tuition and more.

The new website will add to and improve on many of the capabilities of the current site as well as introduce a new light and clean look with large imagery, quick readability and easier navigation.

One of the new capabilities is a newly imagined program finder that makes it easy for students to search and compare programs within the university. The finder has filters and options to narrow down results which then link to robust program pages with options to request information or apply.

      New CMU website
A preview of the new cmich.edu set to launch Dec. 10. The final design is subject to change.

The site is planned to launch on Dec. 10 and all external content is due to be completed within the SiteFinity page approval process by Nov. 1. Beginning Nov. 2, Sitefinity will be locked to allow for User Acceptability Testing and finalization before launch date. The ability to edit and create new pages will be limited during this time.

CMU's intranet, currently known as CentralLink, is not being immediately impacted by this launch and will not affect end of semester needs. CentralLink will be accessible through a new alternative link. Following the launch of the external site, CMU will begin reimagining its new internal website.

All faculty and staff should continue to work with their department collaborator and digital strategist ahead of the Nov. 1 deadline.
