Inclusive Education Alliance
The Central Michigan University Inclusive Education Alliance
(IEA) focuses on increasing access and retention in Teacher Education
Preparation for academically or economically disadvantaged students. IEA
Scholars will have access to a dedicated academic advisor, an annual speaker
series featuring alumni currently working in the education field, and
peer-mentor services throughout their time in the program. The CMU Inclusive
Education Alliance is grant-funded as part of the Morris
Hood, Jr. Educator Development Program
through the Michigan Labor and Economic Opportunity as one of seven unique
Martin Luther King Jr.- Cesar Chavez- Rosa Parks (KCP) initiatives.
