Inclusive Education Alliance

The Central Michigan University Inclusive Education Alliance (IEA) focuses on increasing access and retention in Teacher Education Preparation for academically or economically disadvantaged students. IEA Scholars will have access to a dedicated academic advisor, an annual speaker series featuring alumni currently working in the education field, and peer-mentor services throughout their time in the program. The CMU Inclusive Education Alliance is grant-funded as part of the Morris Hood, Jr. Educator Development Program through the Michigan Labor and Economic Opportunity as one of seven unique Martin Luther King Jr.- Cesar Chavez- Rosa Parks (KCP) initiatives.
