Graduate Prior Learning Credit

Get up to 12 credits for what you already know

  2. When you are ready to move forward, submit your resume using the link below and we will determine your eligibility. 

Submit Your Resume

If eligible, you will build a portfolio showcasing your skills and submit a $125 prior learning credit fee. Faculty and industry experts will evaluate your portfolio and we'll let you know if you've earned prior learning credits—full, partial, or denied. There is a procedure for appeals. Contact us to learn more about the process. 

Successfully awarded credits come with a $125 fee per credit. The review takes about 6-8 weeks.

*Current students are encouraged to talk to an academic advisor, prior to submitting their resume, to see how prior learning credits align with their degree plan.

Graduate prior learning credit portfolio

These are documents that make up a graduate portfolio. Some documents are fillable forms.  The order of the documents listed here is the order of items that need to be in a submitted portfolio.  The documents listed that are not fillable forms are documents that you will also need to include in your portfolio.

This is an optional section that can be used for specific information regarding your portfolio that you wish to point out.

In this section, you will outline your personal and education information.

Tabs I and II Personal and Education Information

Include your academic history which is available in your student account portal.

There are separate forms for Work, Training, and Life Experiences which all make up the Table of Contents.
