Aug. 5, 2022: Website updates

Among this week's website updates are changes to how Sitefinity interprets the data brought into the system through importers. The changes include:

• Updating the importers to use instances methods instead of static methods to free up RAM on the website servers.
  • Freeing up RAM on the website servers allows the site to perform faster.
• Refactoring the imported code to unpublish items.
  • This means that an item already in Sitefinity but not included in the code will automatically be unpublished. For example, if someone is no longer an employee and not on the import list of people, their profile in Sitefinity will be unpublished.
