Clubs and Recreation
Boredom: Impossible
With so many options for getting involved on campus, it can be hard to know where to begin. Start with MainStage. Held before classes start in the fall, it's our annual expo where you can kick the tires of every student group on campus.
Or you can talk with a Peer Involvement Advisor, an engaged student leader who will help match your interests with organizations and activities. It's like having your own tour guide for getting involved!
Do You
If you see something interesting, try it. If it isn't for you, try something else. All groups value leadership, inclusion and building community.
Give Back
64% of CMU students volunteer. You can find an activity that matches your passion through the Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center.
Connect Globally
You'll meet students from around the world and contribute to our campus culture committed to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Fire Up for Fitness!
The Student Activities Center features modern facilities indoors and out and is home to one of the nation's largest intramural programs.
