Remodel Begins in the Park Library’s 1st Floor Quiet Study Area

Construction in the Park Library’s 1st Floor Quiet Study Area will begin Monday, May 12, 2025.  

This project includes removing a small section of shelving and installing new flooring, lighting, and study furniture. The new furniture pieces will include booths, benches, height adjustable tables, and a variety of individual study pods. Once complete, the remodeled space will seat up to 50 people.  

The sliding doors in the library’s 1st floor elevator lobby may be closed during portions of the construction period. When the lobby entrance is closed, library users may access the 1st floor study spaces and collections using the extended hours door in the library café.  

Books on the first floor were shifted to the second floor to make this remodel possible.
