Central Michigan University students are always looking for local part-time and seasonal work opportunities while living in Mount Pleasant. Posting your position through Student Employment Services (SES) connects you directly with dependable, motivated student workers eager to gain hands-on experience.

Posting is free and shared directly with CMU students.

Students are interested in flexible, short-term, and part-time work such as:

  • Retail, food service, or office support

  • Yard and garden maintenance (mowing, raking, planting, shoveling)

  • Childcare, elder care, or pet sitting

  • Cleaning, moving, and light household help

How to post a job

  1. Complete the Off-Campus Job Posting Form.

  2. SES will review your submission for clarity and compliance.

  3. Your posting will appear online within 1–2 business days.

  4. Students can contact you directly to apply.

    Postings remain active for up to 90 days, unless you request removal earlier.

Updating or removing a post

When your position has been filled or if you need to make changes, please contact SES and we’ll update or remove your listing promptly.

To update or remove your posting:

  • Call 989-774-3881, or

  • Email ses@cmich.edu with your job title and name.

    This helps ensure that students are only viewing current, accurate opportunities.
