WORK-STUDY – Admissions Processing – Seeks Student Assistant
Duties Include: Reviewing and processing transcripts, imaging and scanning documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in admission procedures, shredding documents.
Skills Desired: Basic Microsoft Office skills and communication skills. Strong work ethic. Must be detail oriented. Ability to learn and operate various technologies.
Schedule: 15 Hours per week Flexible schedule during office hours, Monday – Friday, 8 am-5 pm

GSA and WORK-STUDY – Events and Conference Services – Seeks Office Assistant
Duties Include: Responsible for general and specialized clerical duties in an administrative office. Office assistants are responsible of office functions including typing & proofreading, developing flyers and program materials, creating and working with databases, answering the phone, processing mailings, providing information to CMU and non-CMU constituents about CMU Events, and other duties as assigned.
Skills Desired: Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality, organizational skills, working knowledge of MS Office applications, knowledge of residence life programs, University Recreation, Athletics, University Events and other campus offices and resources.
Schedule: Flexible with classes during office hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-5p.

WORK-STUDY - History, World Languages, and Cultures - Seeks Office Assistant
Duties Include: Represent department office and assist with daily operations including but not limited to assisting administrative staff and faculty; greeting visitors; campus errands, typing, scanning, copying, distributing mail, answering the telephone and taking messages. Looking for someone who enjoys working in an academic office and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
Skills Desired: The successful candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Teams, and PowerPoint; have the ability to work well with others as well as independently; complete assigned tasks accurately; work on special projects or events as assigned; be self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and present a positive, professional image.
Schedule: Flexible with class schedule during the office hours Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Duties Include: Email reviews, researcher communication, social media checks, assist with other office duties as needed.
Skills Desired: Microsoft Office, survey creation, database use
Schedule: 20-40 hours a week during the summer, Monday through Friday, shifts will be between 8AM and 5PM.
