Commencement Tickets
Online ticket reservations begin the week of Monday, March 3. Eligible graduates will receive an email communication with instructions on how to reserve tickets.
Online ticket reservations close on Friday, April 25 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets will be released to graduates electronically starting on Monday, April 21 through the closing date.
Guests under three (3) years of age do not require a ticket. Tickets are for general admission. No additional tickets are available. All ceremonies will be live-streamed for family and friends to watch for those that are not able to attend in person.
Ticket reservation instructions
When ticket reservations begin, the following instructions can assist in the process:
- Click the appropriate ceremony time at the bottom of the page (will be available when ticket reservations begin).
- Click “Enter Promo Code” in the upper right corner.
- Enter the code below based on the ceremony you're assigned to, then hit Enter.
- COMMMAY3PM for the 3:00 p.m. ceremony on Friday, May 9.
- COMMMAY9AM for the 9:00 a.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 10.
- COMMMAY130PM for the 1:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 10.
- COMMMAY530PM for the 5:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, May 10
- In the Password textbox, enter your Student ID (without zeroes) and hit Enter.
- Click the “Buy Now” button for your ceremony. (Note: Tickets are free for graduates.)
- Select the number of tickets using the + or - buttons, then click Add to Cart.
- Choose your delivery method (Mobile Delivery Delayed or Print at Home Delayed), then click Checkout.
- Sign in with your email or create an account if needed.
- Complete your order by clicking “Place Your Order.”
- You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly.
Tickets will not appear in your account until Monday, April 21. At that time, you can forward your electronic tickets to your guests or print your tickets.
If you forward a ticket multiple times, only the most recent forward will be valid. All other tickets forwarded will be void and not able to be scanned.
Transfer tickets
See information below on how to transfer tickets for commencement day.
How to Transfer Tickets When Logging into Your Ticket Account on a Computer/Laptop
- Go to https://cmich.evenue.net/signin.
- Log in to your ticket account using the email associated with your account (e.g., CMich, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.).
- A Ticket Central employee may need to confirm the email address associated with your account.
- After entering your email and clicking "Continue," enter your password.
- If you forgot or don’t remember your password, click "Sign In With a Code." A 6-digit code will be emailed to you.
- Enter the 6-digit code, and you will be logged in.
- Once logged in, you should see your "My Account" page.
- On the "My Account" page, find the My Tickets section.
- Under the My Tickets section, click the Transfer option.
- You will be taken to a page where you can see the events for which tickets are eligible for transfer.
- Click on the event, and a dropdown menu will appear.
- Select the number of tickets you want to transfer to a specific guest.
- On the right side, a summary area will appear. Click Continue.
- Enter the guest's first and last name, along with their cell number.
- Alternatively, you can click Use Email Instead to send the tickets via email.
- Click Transfer Tickets to complete the transfer.
How to Transfer Tickets When Logging into Your Ticket Account on a Phone
- Go to https://cmich.evenue.net/signin.
- Log in to your ticket account using the email associated with your account (e.g., CMich, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.).
- A Ticket Central employee may need to confirm the email address associated with your account.
- After entering your email and clicking "Continue," enter your password.

- Once logged in, you will be directed to the general buying page. Look for the three bars at the top left of the page and click them.
- A dropdown menu will appear. Select My Account from the options.
- On the "My Account" page, you will see the Transfer Tickets icon in the middle of the screen. Select Transfer Tickets.
- You will be taken to a page where you can see the events for which tickets are eligible for transfer.
All ticket questions should be directed to Ticket Central by calling (989) 774 - 3045.

Additional tickets
At this time additional tickets are not available. Should additional tickets become available, graduates may complete and submit the form below to be added to the waitlist.
If available, they will be distributed in the order in which graduates applied for the waitlist. Graduates will receive an email notification (to their CMU email) that additional ticket(s) have been added to their online ticket account. Typically, requests are reviewed a few weeks prior to commencement.
Please note, ticket allocations are determined by the number of graduates, as well as spatial and security constrains of the facility.
