Student Publications

The Honors Program sponsors student publications that feature some of their academic and creative work. All publications are edited and published as a community service venture by students in the Central Michigan University Honors Program under the supervision of our university faculty. 

The Great Lakes Platform

The Great Lakes Platform is a journal sponsored by the Honors Program that features talented high school student writing and creative work. This periodical is designed to feature the work of talented high school students in the Great Lakes region. It is edited and published as a community service venture by students in the Central Michigan University Honors Program under the supervision of our university faculty. Support is also provided by the CMU College of Education and Human Services and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. The Great Lakes Platform is published in both a hard-copy format and posted online.

Honor Bound Magazine

Honor Bound Magazine is a promotional publication highlighting activities and students in the Central Michigan University's Honors Program. This magazine features stories, photo essays and brief reports giving insight on the unique Honors Program experience at Central Michigan University. Our students are encouraged to contribute to the greater good in pursuit of their individual passions and accomplishments. Discover how invaluable faculty mentorship helps Honors students succeed in remarkable academic achievements and research endeavors while engaging in global engagement and active citizenship.
