| Details: | Take your musical skills to the next level with a distinguished member of the CMU School of Music faculty in a camp specific to your instrument. Immerse yourself in master classes, chamber music, and other specialized topics designed to motivate, inspire, and level-up your playing. Engage in elective sessions covering areas such as Music Theory, Jazz Improvisation, or Music Composition (exact topics to be determined). Our camp will give you a glimpse into studying music at the college level and help you forge new musical friendships.
In addition to our outstanding faculty, our top CMU music majors serve as counselors and teaching assistants (with a ratio of 10 campers to 1 counselor). They provide supervision and mentorship, fostering a supportive environment for every participant in the CMU Summer Music Institute. Registration deadline: May 12 |
