Emily Marvosh, Centralis Scholar and ’03 vocal performance major, has been gaining recognition as a skilled performer of oratorio and opera.
Marvosh has recently been heard as a soloist with the Handel and Haydn Society, the Back Bay Chorale, the White Mountain Bach Festival, Opera Boston, Boston Lyric Opera, Longwood Opera, and Intermezzo Chamber Opera. Marvosh is also a frequent soloist with the Marsh Chapel Choir Bach Cantata Series.
Ensemble appearances include the Oregon Bach Festival, the Portland Baroque Orchestra and Tucson Chamber Artists to name a few. Marvosh is a regular member of Miami-based vocal group Seraphic Fire, and can be heard on their recent GRAMMY-nominated recording of Brahms's Ein Deutsches Requiem.
