The Ultra training plan
The following learning opportunities have been designed for faculty who have transitioned their course content from Blackboard Learn to Blackboard Ultra and are now teaching in the new platform.
Grading in Ultra
Ultra’s grading platform provides flexibility in how instructors choose to approach reviewing submitted work. Instructors can move seamlessly between student submissions with the option to grade by student or by question. In this session, we demonstrate the grading procedure in Ultra, discussing the basics of adding feedback and annotations, using rubrics, and posting final grades. We also cover the process of grading discussions, journals, group work, and differentiating between student attempts.
Data-Driven Instruction Using Blackboard Ultra
In this hands-on workshop, faculty will be led through the extensive data that resides in their Ultra course. The use of this data can aid the instructor in adjusting instructional strategies, where needed, or intervening with students falling below desired performance levels or who are not actively engaging in the course.
