Student Representatives - Interest Form
The University Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council (UDEIC) was formed of designated representatives from across campus including faculty, staff, and students. The council works to help promote and select grant and prize recipients, help design and implement local unit initiatives and reporting, disseminate and act on diversity data, build participation in DEI activities, keep units informed and share unit issues and needs. Student participation on the UDEIC helps the council fulfill its mission and vision.
The University Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council will facilitate the exchange, promotion, and leadership of new and existing initiatives to create and maintain a sense of equity and belonging to all.
To lead the Central Michigan University community in strategic, transformative, and respectful actions by intentionally engaging the power of diversity. To advocate, inspire and serve as a sounding board, identifying ways to collaborate while acknowledging the social differences in power.
