Transcript Request

Central Michigan University has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide online ordering of CMU transcripts via Myhub. Ordering a transcript from Myhub is easy, secure, and a more convenient way to order online 24/7. Once a transcript is ordered it can be tracked through text message or email.

Transcript requests, both official and unofficial, must be done online through Myhub. Central Michigan University does not accept transcript requests in person, over the phone or via email.

About Myhub

Myhub is a free and secure online application provided by the National Student Clearinghouse, it will provide students and alumni with access to their verified education records from all colleges and universities participating in Myhub.

  • Reapplying to CMU: If you previously attended or graduated from CMU there is no need to submit a request to send a transcript from CMU.
  • Financial hold on your CMU account: If you have a financial hold on your account, your order will not be processed. Review the Central Michigan University Transcript Hold Policy and contact Student Accounting Services & University Billing at 989-774-3618 for further information.
  • Mailing a transcript: A transcript being mailed through the United States Postal Service could take 2-3 business days to process before being sent.
  • Electronic transcript: A transcript requested electronically is typically emailed the same day it is ordered. Students attending CMU before 2000 are only able to request a mailed transcript.

What is an official transcript?

Sent by the National Student Clearinghouse on behalf of CMU directly to a receiving party (i.e. employer, graduate school, transfer university, etc.).

What is an unofficial transcript?

Sent by the National Student Clearinghouse on behalf of CMU to a student or the individual requestor named on the transcript and not to a receiving party.

  • Note: Be advised that a transcript is official ONLY to the original person it is sent to. If you forward it to another person, it is no longer considered official. 
  • Transcripts printed on security paper cannot be duplicated or scanned.

Order official and unofficial transcripts

The Myhub system can be accessed using two methods from the https://www.myhub.org/education page:

1. Method 1 (applies to current students and alumni, requires an active CMU email account): search for "Central Michigan University", select it from the list of results, and click the Continue button. This will redirect to the CMU single sign-on login screen.

NOTE: if a Global ID account exists, the Help Desk can re-enable the account and reset the password, but these credentials will not at the Myhub site until the next day to allow time for CMU and Myhub systems to synchronize during an overnight process. For more immediate access to the Myhub site, see Method 2 below.

2. Method 2 (applies to former students without an active CMU email account): create and Login with either your LinkedIn or Google account credentials. 

      Issues with ordering
