Scholarship Universe
CMU offers a scholarship-matching tool for admitted CMU students, Scholarship Universe. After answering some initial questions, Scholarship Universe connects you to donor-based internal (CMU) scholarship opportunities for which you qualify. Be sure to check application deadlines.
Folds of Honor Scholarship
Applicants must be the spouse or dependent of:
1) an active duty or reserve
Service member killed or disabled in the line of duty or classified as a POW or MIA.
2) A veteran who
died of any cause after being classified as having a service-connected disability.
3) A service member
missing in action or captured by hostile forces in the line of duty. 4) A service member forcibly detained
or interned by a foreign power in the line of duty. 5) A service member who received a Purple Heart
Medal
Military Spouse Scholarships
The mission of this education and professional support scholarship program is to help prepare military
spouses for meaningful employment and to better contribute to their family’s financial security. The
application period is currently closed. Applications will reopen on December 1. Scholarships and
grants range from $500 to $2500 depending on the type of funding you need and available funding.
Applications are open from December of one year through January of the next. The award is a one-time
payment that must be used within 12 months of receiving. You can apply each year, even if you have
been awarded already in the past.
Council of College and Military Educators (CCME)
As a member institution of the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME), our students are
eligible for generous scholarships to assist with their educational endeavors. CCME offers fifteen (15)
$1000 scholarships each year to United States Service members (active duty/veterans) and spouses of
Service members who are working toward the completion of higher education degrees. The application

AFCEA Military Personnel/Dependent Scholarships
The AFCEA Military Personnel/Dependent Scholarships are available to U.S. active-duty service members, honorably discharged U.S. military veterans (including
Reservists and National Guard personnel), disabled veterans, and to their spouses or dependents who
are currently enrolled in an eligible degree program at an accredited college or university in the U.S.
