Biography

Dr Dhaliwal obtained his undergraduate degree in Science from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario. He then went on to get an MD degree from St Chris IMD College of Medicine. Initially with an eye on a career in the surgical specialites , he completed an Internship in General Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. However, Primary Care is where his heart led him and he completed his residency in Family Medicine at CMU Health, Saginaw, MI. He has over 10 years of experience in Family Medicine with a special interest in Obesity management, Point of Care Ultrasound, and office procedures. He also maintains privileges at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. He is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He resides in Saginaw with his wife, two children and an ever changing number of pets.
