Biography

Professor. Bharati Basu teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Mathematical Economics, International Trade, Economic Development, Household Decisions and Game Theory.

Her research interest focuses on International Trade and Development. She has also published in the field of Household Decisions involving Domestic Violence, Gender Bias in Expenditure Allocation, Fertility and Child Labor. She has served in the Editorial Board/Associate Editor of the Journal “Feminist Economics” and “Journal of Migration and Development” and she is the co-editor of “Remittance Review”.
