Biography

I joined the MSA staff in 2015, but I have been a CMU Chippewa for many years. In the early '90s, I earned my BS in Education from Central Michigan University. Upon graduation, I moved back to the west side of Michigan and worked as a substitute teacher and then as a preschool teacher. Later, I switched careers to the medical field where I worked as a medical records specialist and a medical receptionist. I enjoy working with people, and as the administrative secretary, I have the privilege to work with a diverse group of people, from students to faculty and from visitors to CMU staff. It was my husband's career that brought us back to the Mount Pleasant area, and I am thrilled to be back at CMU.
