Biography

Dr. Kraus-Horbal is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and will be practicing in our Riverfront location. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and women's studies from the University of Michigan, her medical school degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Seton Hill. She completed her residency and chief residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Before joining CMU, she was a senior staff physician with the Academic Internal Medicine division at Henry Ford. She continued to pursue her passion for medical education by working closely with residents and medical students. Her clinical interests include chronic disease management, such as diabetes and hypertension, team-based primary care, and women's health. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, one-year-old son, and Goldendoodle.
