Clarkson, Grant

Biography

Grant is a CMU graduate, where he majored in Environmental Science and Natural Resources Biology. He joined the Office of Laboratory and Field Safety in Fall 2023. Prior to working at CMU, he served as a technician in an analytical chemistry lab focusing on air quality, and also worked for several field seasons in aquatic invasive plant control. Some of Grant's duties as a Laboratory Safety Specialist include serving on the Institutional Biosafety Committee, conducting safety inspections and generating reports for registered laboratory spaces on campus, as well as overseeing the field safety program.
