Balliet, Jill

Biography

Jill joined CMU’s Innovation and Online team in September 2022 as one of the Associate Directors of Online Student Services. She leads her team in recruitment and retention for College of Education and Human Services undergraduate and graduate online programs. She began her work at CMU in 2010 as an academic advisor for the College of Education and Human Services (CEHS). After 12 years of working primarily with undergraduate students she is excited to bring her knowledge and expertise of teacher education, CEHS programs and the student experience to CMU Online Student Services.

Jill earned her Bachelors in Sociology/Communications and Masters in Student Affairs in Higher Education both from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is currently a doctoral candidate at CMU in Educational Leadership expecting to graduate in 2024.

With her husband and three kids, Jill spends her free time reading, camping and exploring the beautiful Michigan landscape.
