Biography
Joel joined the Innovation & Online division in 2023 as the Assistant Director of Military and Veterans Relations. He serves as the main point of contact for CMU programs at the Fort Leavenworth Education Center.
During Joel’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and volunteering in various ways at his local church.
Prior to working at CMU, Joel served as the Center Director for Upper Iowa University, Fort Leavenworth. Joel is a retired Army Officer and served in several roles at the brigade, battalion, and company levels.

Joel graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance and earned an MA in Management and Leadership from Webster University.
