Biography
Katie Flannery graduated from Central Michigan University’s Physician Assistant Program in 1999, the second class of the program. She went on to practice Family Medicine locally for 10 years and after a move to Lansing, Michigan in 2009, Katie began working in Urgent Care and Orthopedics. In 2018, she was asked to return to CMU to teach part time. In 2020, Katie took a full-time faculty position, working in the classroom and labs with the didactic year students and as part of the clinical team. In 2022, she was named the Director of Clinical Education, in 2023 the Associate Program Director, and currently, as of May 2024 the Interim Program Director for the Physician Assistant Program. Katie Flannery continues to work for an orthopedic group in Lansing, Michigan where she resides with her husband and four children
