Biography

Kelly joined Central Michigan University in January 2023 as the Director of Military and Veteran Relations. A retired U.S. Army veteran, Kelly brings over 30 years of active-duty experience in human resources to her role.

In her current position, Kelly serves as a key liaison, working to strengthen relationships between CMU and military partners across all branches of service. She is dedicated to providing service members with access to educational opportunities at CMU, leveraging her personal experience to highlight how CMU’s online programs are an ideal fit for military personnel. Through flexibility that accommodates Permanent Changes of Station (PCS), Temporary Duties (TDY), and deployments, Kelly demonstrates how military members can continue their education without disruption.
