Irwin, Lori
Associate Professor, Ed.D., CPRP
Biography
Lori is a two-time graduate of CMU and holds another degree from Northern Michigan University. She has been teaching at CMU since 2004 and worked full-time in the recreation and event industry for 14 years before she came to CMU and remains active in producing local, regional, and statewide events.
Lori is an advisor for the Event and Recreation Management major and the Program Director for the RPL-Event and Recreation Management curriculum, outcome assessment and national accreditation.
Lori is currently the Board President of the Michigan Recreation and Park Association (mParks) and the Chair of the National Council on Accreditation for Recreation, Parks, Tourism and Related Industries (COAPRT).
